The FDU90 ultrasonic sensor provides continuous, maintenance-free level measurement of fluids, pastes, sludges, and powdery to coarse bulk materials. It is also suitable for flow measurement in open channels and measuring weirs.
The measurement remains unaffected by dielectric constant, density, or humidity, and is resistant to build-up thanks to the self-cleaning effect of sensors. Additionally, it is suitable for use in explosion hazardous areas. Its maximum measuring range is 3m (9.8ft) in liquids and 1.2m (3.9ft) in solids.
